Video Contest Rules

Please follow the instructions below. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us!

  • Please fill out an entry form to be eligible. Any entries not submitted with a form will NOT be considered.
  • All videos MUST be produced in the year 2010 while a guest at the lodge.
  • Keep videos to approximately five minutes or less.
  • Guests upload their own videos to YouTube. See instructions for uploading.
  • Videos must be entered by November 1st, 2010.
  • Decisions of the outside professional judges are final.
  • All subject matter must be tasteful and represent Hatchet Lake in a positive manner.

Uploading Instructions

How To Upload a Video to Youtube

  1. Go to Youtube.com
  2. Log In (or sign up for an account)
  3. Click your username in the upper right-hand corner and select My Videos
  4. Click the New button on the top left and select Video Upload
  5. Click Upload Video
  6. Choose the video file on your computer and click Select
  7. As your video uploads, fill out the form with a title, description, and category.
  8. When the video has uploaded, click Save Changes.

How to Add Your Youtube Video to the
Hatchet lake Video Contest Group

  1. Go to the Hatchet Lake Video Contest group here.
  2. Click the 2010 Video Contest topic.
  3. Click Submit a Video
  4. Either paste in the video URL or select a group and then a video from the list. You can add a comment as well. Then click Post.
