The Big Video Contest for 2010 is about to begin. Grab your video camera and start thinking about the next great adventure you are planning for this coming year’s trip to the lodge. Win fantastic prizes and get your video on YouTube for thousands to see. You’ll be able to brag about it to all your family and fishing buddies and get all of them to see the fantastic video you made up on the Internet for the world to view.

You don’t need to be a professional cameraman to make great videos about Hatchet Lake Lodge. Pick your subject: an exciting fly-out, great times in the lodge, hiking around the island, and anything else that your imagination can see.

We’re going to have a professional video maker as our judge and they will be looking for lots of different subjects. Of course it can be the big fish you hook, but anything that you see or do while up at the lodge will potentially give you that big first prize: a fly-out of your choice for next year.

We want to see videos that show what an experience at Hatchet Lake is all about. Use your imagination and make sure that you have your camera with you at all times. You never know when you’ll see a great sunset, a black bear on shore or a moose in the next bay around the corner from where you were fishing.
